Dual-line metering devices for central lubrication systems
Lubricant metering devices for SKF DuoFlex dual-line central lubrication systems
Operating principle
In contrast to single-line or progressive systems, dual-line systems are designed with two main lines running in parallel. While one main line is pressurized, the other is relieved. In order to complete a complete lubrication cycle, both main lines must be pressurized one after the other or relieved of the pressure. With each lubrication cycle, the metering devices dose an amount of lubricant that is adjustable. A separate distributor outlet is assigned to each lubrication point. Dual-line metering devices can also supply an odd number of lubrication points.
